Pit Bull Terrier - Mara - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
Mara came to our rescue when our partner rescue in Georgia sent out an urgent plea for help. Mara was just a puppy, but she found herself on death row at an extremely high kill shelter. We rescued Mara from sure death and we are so happy we did! Mara loves to play with other dogs. She also really loves being around people and is a very loving gal with lots of puppy energy! She is about 11 months old as of April 2013. She weighs about 40 pounds. Mara is still learning her manners on going potty outside, but she should be house-trained with just a little more training. Mara came in in bad shape from the neglect she experienced as a younger girl, but now she is happy and healthy and just waiting on a forever home. She is now fully vetted and just looking for someone to come along and give him a safe place to sleep for the rest of his life.
